Should I do a water change to bring the nitrates And nitrites down

I have heard people say to do water change and some say waite until after the cycling.
I waited until after the cycling was done, that way im not disturbing the bacteria growth by taking away there food.
If that makes any sense.
You want the cycling too continue naturally.

someone else might have a better explination.

I would wait for the water change.
That's the way I have done my tanks in the past.

Just a bigger w/c once the cycle is over.

Ammonia being gone is a very good sign. The nitrates now have to drop to 0 and you are ready to add a fish or 2. If you want clownfish, they are very good starter fish as they are very hardy and can handle any mini spikes that may occur.
