Comes at a cost. I am often there overnight opening boxes and taking pictures
. He loves the publicity the pictures get, and I really love opening his shipments, hes been ordering from the same suppliers for over 20 years so they have a great relationship and we often get treats .

I meant to ask earlier what was the purpose of the egg crate in the bottom of the tank when you first started the buildBeen waiting a while for this one. Can't wait to do some macro work with it when it gets more defined.

It prevents the rockscape from moving, the rocks were placed directly on the eggcrate and then the sediment was added afterwards. This way if any rocks were to shift, it would not damage the bottom glass.

I have only added a few pieces recently. I have been working a lot more and had some health problems that are keeping me away from the tank, so the tank has been really left to grow. Finally got around to testing today and taking some pictures. Everything is stable and things look happy.
