I think i recall the conversation your talking about pulp. I dont think that scrubbers a bad thing, probally beneficial actually....however, when you say a small scrubber will make a skimmer obsolete is when your lookin for an argument   Blanket statements like this turn people off of the hobby.

i would have to go hunt it all down,this hobby has lots of room for experimentation and i don't think there is a blanket statement for any of it,i guess when you ruffle feathers with "this is the only way" or "i can make everything perfect" you gotta expect some flack
