check with Gary at Sealife Central, he can source the glass for you. Also has the experience to modify or build what you need if that's the route you choose to go.

Sorry to hear of your issues Phil. I like your idea of upgrading and doing it right, especially if the significant other is on board! I'd go to something in the 180 region if I were you, and 30" wide is great. 24" seemed like a ton of width initially, but that space goes quickly. Seems like a buyer's market right now for used tanks, not sure if Patrick's is still for sale. My tank moved with me and my plan is now to refurb it and get it back up and running, sort of along the same lines as you, correcting a few things that could have been improved along the way.

At some point over the past few days, my DV Northern Delight frag was knocked out of place by something and fell into the abyss that is my liverock.

All corals have fully bounced back from the bubbling episode and have begun growing again. DV Candlelight was the most affected, it experienced some base recession, but is well on the way to recovery. My red dragon has started shooting out again, Vivid Rainbow Delight continues to throw out an ever wider base, the Loripes has gained back most of its green colouring, red convexa is starting to turn from green to red, and the strawberry shortcake is growing both out and up! It's recovery has been the most stunning. When I acquired it from Jordan, it was completely bleached out and had zero polyp extension. It slowly started releasing its polyps after many weeks, and now not only is it encrusting but it is developing new polyps at the tips.

Good to hear! Now the trick is to keep them growing up until your transfer, make sure you don't shock them too much in the transition, and then onwards and upwards from there :)

Yes hopefully I can make the transition as smooth as possible... that worries me.

I have lots of sponges and sea squirts on my liverock and I hear that any air exposure at all can kill them, which would then result in all kinds of toxins being released.

Aside from that, I am hoping that if I transfer all the water from the 90 and fill the rest of the tank with fresh water that it will be like doing a 50% water change. Fingers crossed!

That is a false myth thankfully Phil,
There are hosts of sponges and other hitch hikers that don't die when exposed to air, I'm trying to grow sponges jn my sump to throw in my display for the angels to eat, they have Noo problem being moved back and forth on the rcks

I think you'll be fine. You should have little to no die off with your rock, and 50% NSW shouldn't be that big of an issue.

Came home to find this pink and green mille had randomly sloughed off most of its tissue :(

It was mounted just a couple of inches above a large and healthy orange crush Echinata colony and I'm thinking that it might have been attacked. I blasted it off with a turkey baster, gave it a quick dip in Coral RX followed by a rinse, and moved it up to the frag rack. Hopefully it recovers but I won't hold my breath. There's just a tiny bit of tissue left at the base that still has a touch of colour left to it, the rest is basically white skeleton...

Took a bunch of top down shots while I was doing a water change today. Should have got out the SLR as I was able to see some cool stuff and was surprised at the colour a few pieces are only showing when viewed from above.

I would have been able to get better shots if I could figure out how to better deal with surface reflections...

Lets start with the one and only RR Orange Passion:

looking great...... one of these days i will make it in person
I am thinking about throwing a little Fragtank gathering once the basement is finished and the new tank is fully up and running.

If timing coincides with Fragfest then maybe it could be a Fragfest after party or something. Though people will likely want to be getting their frags home, and I'm kind of on the opposite side of the city....
