Looks like Lanthanum Chloride, should be dosed into a 10uM filter sock or directly into the intake of a skimmer to catch the precipitant.

Yes. Seems correct. Been doing some research on it and thought it would be good to have just in case situations. Weird they won't sell it here in Canada. Or even ship here..

actually I bought that product years ago to use on my FW tanks. I believe aquarium services USED to carry it.
I also believe you can still get it in canada, can be ordered through Amazon.ca
Think but not 100% sure

There is a product called PhozDown that is available in Canada. I use Brightwell Aquatics Phosphat-E, I get it from Marine Depot.

Picked up a couple 10 micron socks from CC. First time I ventured into this LFS. Nice little place. Reminded me of a glorified frag chop shop more than anything. Girl was pleasant and helpful though . Will stop again soon when I'm back in the area.

Berkeley On,
called the lab and asked what the other 89% of the product is and it is filtered water, They do not officially recommend the use of it in aquariums as it has never been tested for that application.

I have dosed my tank twice at half recommended doses. Didn't take long to fill 2- 7" 10 micron filter socks. Brought my po4 from 0.06 to 0.03. No ill effects from visual appearance of everything. Picked up some new snails cuc. Did notice I lost 7 of 30 astrea and turbos.
