the reason they are ruling out fire is the plane was still transmitting or receiving some sort of signal to satellites 6-8hrs after the plane left the radar and deviated from course.

CNN is the least of our worries but they are laughable.

The speculation is crazy.

I say Aliens.  That or future mankind is stealing the plane and the people on the plane to repopulate the earth.  See the future earth is so polluted that it has turned mankind infertile.

Im sure there is a movie here somewhere.

Right on...It was done...They discover that all the bodies on a crashed plane were already dead...turns out time travellers swap out all the people from doomed aircraft...can't remember the name of it but it was a low rent B-Sci-fi flick in the late eighties early nineties.
[/quote]haha...  caught me.  I cant remember the name of that movie either but it was awesome.

Another one that isnt very exciting.

Fire on board, pulled electrical breakers in attempt to put it out, made turn for nearest strip, pilots overcome by smoke, autopilot flies on set track until out of fuel, splash.

Not possible, auto pilot adjustments were programmed to make the course change 12 minutes before someone in the cockpit said "all right, good night " also like in that air France Flight the on board acars system reported 24 alarms of fire and problems before any fire was even known by the pilots. Same thing would have happened here.. Plus that system was reporting engines were a OK hours after they lost contact.

Nope, no fire on board. Comms were still working after the pilot changed coarse. Pilot acknowledged that there were no issues when he changed coarse. There was enough fuel to make it to the nearest strip. Plane did not go splash. Plus the plane was still sending off random beacon for hours after, plus the passengers cells were still ringing which means they were still connected to the network and within a coverage area.

My suggestion, pilot was planning this for a while. Got notice that there was something valuable in the cargo hold and acted on his plan then. The passengers are dead, but all their personal items are valuable over there still, the plane is to, someone will strip it and use it.

People are saying that the plane was found...but here is the real info:

In one of two new sightings Monday, Abbott said the crew on board an Australian P3 Orion had located two objects in the search zone — the first grey or green and circular, the second orange and rectangular. The crew was able to photograph the objects, but it was unclear if they were part of an aircraft.

It is a freaking ocean and they think that 2 pieces of debris is an entire missing plane? Either way, they are calling in everything and everyone. The ocean depth in the search area ranges between 1,150 metres and 7,000 metres. Ironically the Towed Pinger Locator, which is pulled behind a vessel at slow speeds, can hear the black box "pinger" down to a depth of only 6,100 metres. So you know they are just going to say that it must be in an area lower then that.
