So i ordered the variable power supply now. I'll let you guys know how it works.

On an other note. MP pumps are great for tanks up to 4 feet... longer aquariums should go tunze in my opinion!
Sorry to hear that. Bit definitely worth the money for what you got out of it. I hope to get that much use too. Are you sure it is the pump and not the controller? Know anyone local that you can run over and try your controller on yheir pump or visa versa
