Whats everyone running for phosphate removal ? I'm setting up a reactor this weekend and didn't know what to run. I have had luck with biopellets in the past but was thinking about just running rowaphos or something similar instead. Possibly chemipure elite. Suggestions ?

I use Brightwell Aquatics Phosphat-E, dosed with a 1.1ml brs pump through a 10uM sock, way cheaper and can maintain what ever level I want, Sulphur denitrator for nitrates.

BRS or BBF High Cap GFO - Phosphates

Biopellets for nitrates.

I am also running a small amount of NPX all in one pellets to see what they do in a third reactor currently.

How do you find the BBF (big black female) GFO works?

it's perfectly safe. You just need to be sure to use the right amount and not over dose.

Yup, its good to use. I think the concentration is double what you would find in a retail product such as Agent Green. If your phosphates are low and you just want to keep them low (0-0.005) then I would dose LC. It may be hard to keep small amounts of P04 while dosing in a small system (IF you want some P04).

That's cause most of us don't have 10,000 gallons in their basement ;) lol

How are implementing this? Might be helpful for others, myself included, since you have a popular tank size. Brantford has f@ck all for fish stores, but we do have a pool store!
