Why not? Just curious as I'm shopping around...

Long story short, IIRC, he first got the tank on Jul 15, 2016 after waiting a while, noticed the first issue with a seal letting go on Aug 16, 2016 and several repair attempts and took weeks/months to return the tank. He finally dismantled and re siliconed the entire system himself. Hoping to get water in it shortly.

I as well have a custom 6'x8.5"x2' (banister tank) from them, seals are decent other than the air bubbles in themo_O, glass not being aligned properly- rimless so that makes for a good look up top , small chip out of my beveled edge( arrived at my LFS like that)..nothing else wrong with it¿? Nope, other than the bottom black trim:big gap along length, silicone on display sides( glass is to be viewed from both sides), angled trim cuts not even close to 45degree's:confused:,and all for a small price tag of 741.56$
Not even close to what salty paid!!!!

Not worth the hassle!!!!!

Damn salty, thats heartbreaking.... Ive only seen their back workshop never actually seen 1 of their rimless other than the ones they use in their shop. Im not sure id ever trust it again after that if that happened to me.

I will say my first time in there they did tell me its ok to add fish the day you set your tank up as long as u use their water and have proper liverock. I nodded nicely and made sure my tank cycled first anyways. Safety first!

We pour a lot of money into this hobby and i think everyone wants as much reassurance that things arent going to crash on you.
