cant say to much for growth rate yet because i havent had for to long, but my zoas definitly open up and seem happy under them, great colours too... hard to beat the full spectrum and dimablity... and hard to beat the 190$ shipped to your door lol

Upgraded the 75g frag tank a reef brite xho 48"
Trying to cut down the power costs lol

I would be leery on that fixture for growing corals, especially a 72" fixture the tank has probably a good depth to it.

he doesnt want that light, its got 3:1 white to blue.. it would be ok for a fish only but other than that i'd steer clear.
if he wants cheap but good the reef breeder fixtures are the way to go.

Thanks so much everyone for the answers,  and thanks Brandon, I know very little about LED and the more I read the more confused I get. Both myself and a friend are interested in going LED, but with a 6 foot tank it gets pricey. I'll start a new thread not to hijack Brandon's tank post and Brandon your fish room is looking fabulous !

2 24" reef breeder leds would do wonders over your tank imo.
