So I'm not there yet but just thinking ahead. WHEN my zoas start producing more heads (fingers crossed) and growing over the frag plug how to you attach them to your rocks? I have a plastic DIY frag rack right now and only a few heads on my zoa frags. But I already know where I'd like them to go on the rocks.
Do you cut the entire colony from the frag plug or just cut the stem off the frag plug and let them continue growing over that? It seems it would be easier to attach the frag plug base to the rock but if you cut the colony how do you attach that to the rock? I have EcoTech Coral Glue and the two colour Epoxy. I'm thinking the epoxy for the frag plug base but unsure how to approach it otherwise.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
