Plumbing successful!! Hooked up the pump and water is flowing wonderfully. One small drip where I forgot to glue a fitting and that's it.

This beananimal drain starts up even better than my other one, which is awesome.

Nice I love my bean animal drain. I even put one on my zero edge. They work amazing
It is a very good drain but needs to be implemented with careful attention to he details. As far as I can tell, I did the drain on my 90 gallon to spec but there is a small issue with it. For some reason, it doesn't restart silently. The trickle pipe steals too much water and I have to fiddle with the gate valve to get the full siphon running.

Thankfully I don't seem to have that problem this time!! (Yet..... [emoji32])

Had a very productive day! Rinsed and added the last bag of sand to the tank. Pulled out the sump and applied the first coat of Liquid Rubber to the wood insert that will be sitting in the bottom of the stand. Began framing the wall beneath of the tank, and have a good plan on how to finish that up once the rubber coating is finished.

While waiting for the rubber to dry I returned to the storage room. 2.5 out of three walls are now fully mudded and painted, so I started on the shelving for the back wall. It turned out pretty good!

Here's some more photos...

Looks fantastic! Are you planning on leaving that metal strapping in for support of the plumbing? I'd recommend moving to something non metal, it will rust eventually. I'm sure you've probably thought of this already though.

Yeah once I frame in wall above the tank I'll switch to a plastic clip that's mounted to the wood framing. I don't want to build that frame until I'm done with the aquascape though.

Started on the lighting rack last night. Have the reflector mounts all built. Just need to add a couple more pieces of aluminum angle and the VHO end caps once I get them from Poseidon. And drill a couple more holes to run the hanging cable through.

I'll be coating it in white PlastiDip once all done.

Are you planning on using the dip or spray plastidip? Assuming spray for the frame, as opposed to brushing on?
