That's awesome, still can't believe how quickly you did all of this. Agree regarding the lighting, going to look amazing, and the SPS won't mind either ;)

Unless I have forgotten something, the job is more or less complete! I still need to aquascape and clean up the electronics. For now, I have placed all the coral encrusted rocks on the left and the rest of the rocks on the right. I didn't realize how many corals I had, and how big some of them were, until I started lifting them out of the tank and inspecting them while they were in my hands!!! My Monti caps are enormous - bigger then my hands. The coral rocks take up the entire left hand side of the tank. I was thinking that I would need to add more live rock, but now that I see everything in there I am not so sure... the entire sand bed is nearly covered... so once I start stacking things I think it will be the perfect amount to leave gaps between the rock and walls for flow.

wow.. I'm curious though, why do you have a skimmer going in the tank?

I had the tank cycling for about a month while I took care of other tasks, and I decided to place the skimmer in the tank when I noticed the surface was starting to get scummy. I wasn't able to have the sump running at that time because I was doing work under the stand, and my only return pump was still being used to run the 90 gallon.

Got snowed in today, so after shoveling the driveway out I came downstairs to inspect the tank. Water was all cleared up, and I appear to have only lost one coral!! And when I say lost, I mean literally... lost. Can't find it. I placed my purple Monti Cap on top of a rock and it seems to have blown who knows where....

The Tunze wavebox and pair of 6105's are doing a perfect job, I'm very pleased that I chose to go with them. Running at full power (well, the 6105's are on a 7096 controller ramping up and down alternately) and it's just about the perfect amount of flow.

That is a sweet setup for flow, you'll be happy with it I'm sure, as will the coral. Good to hear about the transfer, sounds like things couldn't have gone any better!

Yeah it really did go about as perfect as it could. Only damaged one coral too, broke a very small piece off my green Monti Cap because it's rock is a monster and I almost lost my grip on it lol.

I decided to move most of the crushed coral substrate at the last minute, and with it came some nasty gunk. I could have gravel vacced first but I was trying to move as much water over as possible and I was getting tired/lazy lol. If not for that, the water likely would have stayed clear - it was already more or less clear after I was done moving the rocks! I put felt socks on my drains for the time being to help with the water clearing. They seem to have done their job, just have them a good cleaning.

Skimmer is almost tuned in, I think, and starting to pull some nice garbage.

I'm not looking forward to aquascaping lol. Might wait a week or two for that. I've got a two week vacation coming up starting this Friday.... going to Quebec City for valentine's day where I'm going to be proposing to my girlfriend :D.
