So as some of you may of seen in the for sale thread I up and grabbed parksy's 120 gal and he was nice enough to throw in an acrylic sump he had. Thanks again parksy!
It does have a crack on the drilled hole, so i'll have to patch that and learn me some acrylic welding (planned on internal return anyways) but the problem at hand is there is only one possible way to get this sump in the stand and that's by turning it on its side and going through the top of the stand.
So my question is, should I have a sump in my stand that cannot be removed without draining and removing the tank? Is their any likely circumstances where an acrylic sump would need to be removed?
I know I've seen sumps maxed for size in stands before, just trying to gauge your guys opinions.
