Thanks!that is awesome,
Yes so the nem lived near the bottom of the tank and the clowns like at the top. So I'm wondering if I place my nem in the same spot that the clowns will not like it down by the sand bed. But if I place it up high, it might not like its spot and move where I cant see it or just a bad spot in general. What do you think I should do?What a great idea! So I assume you will keep them in there for a day or two then relocate back to the main tank and hope they remember to host in it? The trick I guess will be to make sure the nem finds a happy foothold in a spot that works for everyone. Let us know how it works out!
Ok, thanksI think I got lucky with mine. Basically I placed the nem in the spot I wanted it, making sure the rock offered nice crevices for his foot to grab hold and he seemed to like it and has been in the same spot for almost 5 years. It is about mid-height in my 90g with moderate flow. It sits about 12" below my Marineland Reef Capable LEDs which sit low profile to the top of the tank. My 2 ocellaris don't wander far from it.
I'm thinking what you did is a great start to make the association, as for putting it back in the tank, I'd just suggest putting it on the rock you want, where you want it and hope for the best![]()
