I just started reading this thread now....dang Duke. Sorry buddy.  Im sure you can turn it around.  Its a cool idea.  I have seen tanks like this before and what I would like to see is a carpet anemone tank in a shallow reef with all sand and barely any rock.....a some big and small carpets of different colours with clowns would be awesome.  Not that bubbles arent cool though....very nice.  Im sure you've followed marvin's reef anemone and clown tank?

Thanks everyone for the kind words of encouragement. Looks like most of the nems will pull through.. Some are severely wounded.. Another few hours and I'm sure everything in the tank would have died. I did a massive water change and was up till 2am cleaning up.. Work at 5am came really early today... Tossed some snails and crabs and about a dozen asterna stars in there and they were all alive this morning.. So I'm pretty sure nothing from the heater actually contaminated the tank.... I'm going to chalk this up as just a minor setback..  ;D

You could look on the positive side now and think most of the nems are going to split do to the stress.

I'm sure a split or two will happen, they new purple one held up good.

Lol, ok If they pull through and you get one to split... :) haha

He had them in the sump so they never really had light on them when I seen them.

Sweet videos. Hows it doing now?

not so good, the huge die off screwed the tank up royally.. i took all the rock and anemones out so theres nothing for biological filtration left.. the fish look great.. but i have some palys in there that wont even open yet.. im doing water changes and going to wait it out i guess, i have my big skimmer on this tank and its pulling much harder that it ever does on my main display tank.. i might try and drain it clean it all and start over if things dont turn around in a day or two.

ok.. Round 2.. seems im outta the "chance of everything dying" stage.. everything is still pretty hurting.. but 200x better than a few days ago. I had to put everything in my display again for a few days to let the nems fix themselves.. or whatever they do.. i just knew my main tank had water quality good enough to keep them healthy. I drained and rinsed the substrate and restarted it again with more "main" tank water and now im off to the races.

Hurry and watch.. Youtube didnt like my choice of music and they are removing the audio from my video.. Then you wont get the full effect.. LOL.. HD is better as usual.
