Yea, it keeps getting longer and longer everyday too. I spoke with Patrick at reef wholesale who said to make a torch stretch similar to "Todd's torch" low light and low-medium flow with sporadic high flow being ok, the torch will really try to reach to grab more light.

I will be switching my return pump shortly to cut down on hydro. When I do I will be switching to flexible hosing for my return. What do people use to keep the line in one place? Or should I just run flex from pump to my existing hard plumbing?

I use all flexible tubing under the tank for drains and returns, just stainless band clamps to the return barbs (I glued barbs to the bulkheads) and either pressure fit or plastic clamps in the sump itself.  Silent and has worked for 9 years.
