Update as of today.

Ordered a led light to experiment with on it. It will probably only cover 1/2 - 3/4 of tank.

Door I made. Other half isn't digging it though, so something else might need to be made, unless she just gets over it.

1. Its plywood
2. It was cut with a jigsaw...as I didn't feel like driving to pickup my circ saw. I think it looks fairly straight.

It was built to cut down on noise.

It is just a peice of plywood with hinges, so yes if I want to do something under my stand, I have room galore as it swings right open :)

Any noise coming from the light fixture out of curiousity? I may buy one of them for a frag setup. Just curious if the fan unit is loud or not.

It has 3 fans today, one for each colour, and then a middle fan that kicks on once unit feels warmish. Cannot hear fixture over everything else.

Found this link, I guess it is best bang for your buck right now. Looks like same unit as mine with more led combos.

Update as to how the tank is getting along.

Last picture is my anemone I picked up from Sealife about a week ago, has given me a few scares here and there thinking its dead, but has always came back. Found I needed a bit more flow on him as he poops a lot and gets mad when it gets stuck to him.
