Ive got nothing to argue about. I  will agree with Brandon on the fact I think Boston is one of the dirtiest teams in the league. But after what James Neil did, I can't  say much on that, I will say I'm glad it was that little prick Marchand that got it. But all in all LEAFS STILL AND WILL ALWAYS SUCK

Still on the Crosby crying thing eh,
How many goals and points does he have to put up till people respect him, which Boston player that plays now can you say comes even close to what he can do .... Exactly.

Bergeron?  The best all-position player in the league?  :)

But definitely Crosby is good, almost as many points as leaf-cast off Steen....  Can't argue with that ;)

Goals not points, this season, my bad.

Bergeron, honestly is the best all around player in the entire league.  Throw him a goalie stick and he'll do well :)

To be honest, he's not even my favourite player on the team. I like going for the under rated guys, Kunitz ( maybe not under rated anymore) that guy knows where to be and when to be there.

Jayson megna, rookie, can fly like the wind.
Ollie Matta, 18 and came in the start of the year and is a top D for the Pens, that's freaking amazing.
Pascal Dupuis, love his get in there And do what needs to be done to cough up the puck play.

All around amazing team.

Steen has more GOALS this year than crosby does.  A throw away player from Toronto, has put the puck directly in the net (not to malkin and let him make the goal), than Crosby.

Bruins don't have a star scorer.  Why?  Because in the playoffs you can shut down a star scorer and shut them out in 4 games.  I can't think of who they did that to, but it will come to me.

Gotta have depth. I don't know if Pittsburgh improved that this year or not, I haven't really looked...

Ya shut us down in 4 that was bad for sure. If you watch a pens game closely, malkin and Crosby both hand over the puck a million times over to someone to score. Which is why Crosby has almost 500 assist compared to 250 goals.

I honestly thought we were talking Bergeron not steen. He doesn't even play for Boston any more so that doesn't count.

We've got the depth, the talent, the top players to make cup runs year after year for the next decade, at least.

That game against Toronto, we had 80% rookies brought up from the Wilkes Baron Scranton and look what happened, if those are the guys that are behind us when injuries are around and possibly will be playing full  time NHL hockey, I'm excited as ever.

Re: HOCKEY talk & video games too.

No doubt Boston is team to take seriously. I gotta stick up for Crosby, the guys the most talented player by far in the NHL, I'm lucky I be able to look past him, and see what other amazing talent we have collected up.

James Neil is going to be a force when he gets back, he was lighting shit up till that stupid move he made, man that ticked me off, such a great player, throws away 5 games for bing a cheap SOB. That's nothing compared to Thornton tho, man that was dirty dirty. 15 games? What's your thoughts on that Glen? To much ? To little ?

Hard to say, I thik orpik was instigating, however, I can't defend what Thornton did at all.  15 games is probably about right.  It will hurt the pocketbook, and he will think twice about doing something like that again.  I never forgate bertuzzi for doing something similar and taking a young player out of the game permanently, so I seriously hope he learned his goddamn lesson.  I can hate a guy like Kane with burning fury, but I don't want to see him hurt (permanently) because it's just a game.  I didn't like seeing Crosby take that puck to the jaw last year, I'd rather win or lose straight up on the ice, full strength.  So you won't see me defending a bonehead move.  thornton has a serious black eye now, I think if he did something like that again, he should be banned from the game for life.

Neal's move was a bonehead one, and similar because marchand is definitely a pest player too.  However I give him a bit of a break because it was in the heat of battle, he didn't skate across the ice to do it.

Oh and glen's excuse will be that buffalo is not a contender so Boston doesn't care and doesn't care how they play against them.

Just because it's true doesn't make it any less valid.  Like the leafs, they likely won't see them in the playoffs this year, so they are not a threat.  They put up their backup goalie, who very likely won't be around long after last night, and they slid around the ice like they were at practice.  I suspect the next game will be different, but who knows.

I actually was waiting for smacktalk on my phone last night, but obviously you guys were watching cooking shows or smurfs instead of hockey. :)

Here's the headline over the Leaf's stellar performance last night:

http://www.thestar.com/sports/leafs/2013/12/19/maple_leafs_top_coyotes_in_shootout.html

Yeah, cox knows they will take it.  lol.
