That's great advice.Pending on size of tank dont have to big of a Ato container, incase something goes wrong. Like if a switch or sensor gets stuck and lets your ato go crazy and dumps 25gals of freshwater into a 75g tank(just an example). I only use a 5g bucket for my 75g, and before was only using a 3g.
But what I do is use a 30gal ato reservoir full with a JBJ ato. I also added a float switch to my RKL at a slightly higher spot in my sump. If the jbj fails and dumps too much water into the sump. It triggers the second float switch and shuts the jbj off.
