I do see little particles swimmin or w e around my tank. Dont know if thats pods or what lol. So do i dose pods every month? Or do they breed in tank after adding a bottle of them

I would start off with 2-3 because 90% will get eat by fish and coral.. do you feed live phyto if not you will have to for the pods to survive if I were you look into culturing them it's very cheap and will save you a lot of money I've wasted a lot of money on pods

Well sir, I have only had pods once and that was in the 20g Nuvo and I did as advised put them in with the lights off and turned the flow off for a few hours.

I never feed them and had tons 6 month later.

I treat them like I would for any invert and drip them over. Do you have a sump? If so I add the majority of them to the sump and some to the DT. If no sump add them at night with the lights out to increase chances of survival. If not they will be stunned by the bright lights and will be easy pickings. As per timeline it is hard to tell how long they will last. It all depends on the type of fish and corals you have. If you have fish like a wrasse that go around picking off stuff like this without a sump or lots of rock work they will not last to long.

Watch evaporation as the pods don't like drastic changes in salinity. Or they will crash and you will come home to a jar of stinky cloudiness.

I wanted to add a mandarin dragonet to my 90g a few years ago but wanted to make sure I had enough pod supply for him as I knew my six line would also be eating them. As I don't have any type of refugium to produce them in and after reading options online I decided to try to build a pod "condo" in the tank. In the picture below you will see a plastic breeder box that I filled with chaeto, sand and live rock rubble and put the lid on it and put some small rocks on top of the lid to keep it from possibly floating off. This is hidden at the back side of my tank where it is out of sight. I seeded the tank with one bottle of pods and now they have a safe place to reproduce where fish can't get in but they can swim out into the main tank. I've never had to add any more pods and my dragonfish has been healthy for just over 2 years. The cool thing is you can see all of the different pods moving around in their condo. I haven't touched if for over a year.
Just another possible option to consider, you could do something similar building a "condo" on a smaller scale for your 29g.....

Hard to say looking at the pic and trying to visualize your setup but I think anything would work as long as the pods have a natural contained place to reproduce (ie rock rubble) where the fish or others can't get them and they can swim out into the tank as they hatch/grow. It sounds like you have something in mind that would do the trick so why not set it up and send us some pics....good luck!

I'll be honest and a lot of people might harp about this but I've bought about 6 tiger pods in my life and I add them at night. I flow but my fish still eat them and they would never get down to the bottom for my old mandrian .. and resurch proves that tisbe pods are more of a bottom feeder pod and tend to stick around the bottoms of tanks they are hard to come by I didn't see any other then @David Caplan who sells them along with any other pods, but tisbe the way to go also a lot smaller then tiger so other fish can't see them (or see them as well)

How do u harvest them? Do u just grab a cup and grab and pour in tank? Lol

Yeah I later upgraded to a lemonade style container with a spot at the bottom of the jar I can poor out like a tap lol worked well (I stopped all this because I lost the mandrian :()
