I have my dispars eating PE mysis without fail, NLS flake has been taken by some of them but only at night, for whatever reason, going to get some frozen brine and possibly start up a live brine culture in the next few days. Of the 10 there is 1 that is looking a little thin so I am hoping to get him/her fattened up asap.

This pic is a little dated as the rock is colouring up more now that there is plenty of life in there.

Couldn't get a good shot but there are three Yellow Tangs and one Orange Shoulder Tang in there. Lost two Anthias so down to 8 total, damn picky eaters.

There are about 10 more frags in the tank, couldn't get good shots, still learning how to use the macro function and manual white balance.

Looks great! I enjoy the aquascape. Lots of caves, but still lots of rock exposed to light and perfect for mounting corals. Should look very natural once it grows in! Did you leave much room between the rocks and the back glass?

If you watch the intro vid I posted earlier in the thread you will see that nothing touches the glass at all, as the tank is viewable from all four sides (the rockwork is basically centered in the display).

What I picked up this past week: 2 sandsifting gobies (love em they had the entire ~15 ft^2 of sandbed flipped in a day and a half), 1 cleaner wrasse (already taking flake and frozen) and 3 male lubbocks wrasses (zero infighting and they are actually schooling with the anthias', not hiding at all). I now also have the canopy installed to keep the wrasses in (something my wife has wanted for some time now ). On the less than positive note I have lost three of the anthias' do to picky eating habits. It would seem that the lowest on the pecking order is being out-competed despite my efforts to ensure that there is plenty of food to go around...any suggestions?

I believe anthias are always picky like that, and should be fed 3 times a day, can be a finicky fish. Good luck. And your set up is looking amazing! Im peanut butter and jelous lol.

Yea same thing happened to me,i am now down to one also. The more reading i do about anthis its a common issue.

At this point I am thinking there are two or three males, they are the ones that are doing well, the smaller females are the ones that seem to be suffering. Also I am feeding fairly heavily right now with an auto feeder with an assortment of pellets, frozen brine, frozen Mysis, NLS flakes and frozen LRS Herbivore frenzy (found here )

Meteor Shower cephastrea possibly releasing eggs. Saw three of these form last night on the polyps. Only one left this morning. Any other thoughts?
