Has anyone ever used one of these to separate a pump from a tank. I have a skimmer that vibrates pretty good and was going to put this underneath to absorb the vibration. My concern would be phos leaching out. It doesn't say 100% silicone.

BRS sells isolation pads. Not like I won't be ordering from there soon lol

how about a silicone baking sheet? their food grade. Canadian tire sells them for $10.00

I'd be concerned with some sort of "mold preventing" chemical in the plastic.

I remember losing a full tank of cichlids one time when in a rush I used a scouring pad. About 30 seconds in I had foam coming out of the tank. Turned out that the scrubber was injected with some cleansing chemical.

Silicone pot holders are thicker than the baking sheets and usually have bumps that will help the noise isolation too.

ive tried all kinds of thiings. i found the best were neoprene mouse pads and neopimps trick of dabs of sillicone on contact surface. to be honest the dabs have worked the best lmao and cheap

I have airline hose around mine. Cheap fix.

I went to the dollar store bought a plastic container with lid and filled it with water and put muh skimmer on it and its the perfect height and a great dampener

@Nonuser I would drill holes in the container if the lid is on. The water will go stagnant.
