Has anyone ever used one of these to separate a pump from a tank. I have a skimmer that vibrates pretty good and was going to put this underneath to absorb the vibration. My concern would be phos leaching out. It doesn't say 100% silicone.

I'd be concerned with some sort of "mold preventing" chemical in the plastic.

I remember losing a full tank of cichlids one time when in a rush I used a scouring pad. About 30 seconds in I had foam coming out of the tank. Turned out that the scrubber was injected with some cleansing chemical.

ive tried all kinds of thiings. i found the best were neoprene mouse pads and neopimps trick of dabs of sillicone on contact surface. to be honest the dabs have worked the best lmao and cheap

I went to the dollar store bought a plastic container with lid and filled it with water and put muh skimmer on it and its the perfect height and a great dampener
