this is what I do and feed;
~ 40 shrimp, Pacific, thawed, rinsed, peeled and rough chopped
~ sheet of Mysis shrimp
~ sheet of brine shrimp
~ garlic water, its about 7/8 cloves of garlic in ro water that sits in the frig
~ vitamins, your choice
~ chopped up nori

I have a small food processor that is only used for fish food, spoon as well.. don't want any cross contamination..
you can grind the shrimp as fine as you want, I leave some of the pieces on the bigger side for my bigger fish..
mince the shrimp, adding ro water to get the consistence that you want..
The sheets of the Mysis and brine are thawed and I add the vitamins garlic and the shrimp.. then put into the tiny ice cube trays and freeze..
This makes roughly a tray and a half...( 160 cubes (?))
Pop out of the tray and either store in baggies or plastic container..
I feed 5 cubes a day...

no you are not... it takes a bit to make the food and the beauty is that you can customize it to suit your fish...once you do it you will never buy prepared foods.. my fish don't care for the mussels and other stuff so I don't add it.. they do like clams so I am thinking that I am going to add some to the next batch...

I buy the shrimp on sale but, the regular price is 12.99 (Walmart) the sheets of the Mysis and brine come in a 2 packs and its 14.99 and 12.99...garlic is less than a dollar, vitamins, not sure but a bottle will last about 3 batches... I believe its a lot cheaper than buying prepared foods..
anyone is welcome to come and see my fish, they are all fat and healthy with no aggression in the tank..
now remember, I run a heavy bio load and I tend to over feed...

I do basically the same. I buy a package of frozen seafood medley as well. I also buy the fresh live mussels and drop the bag in freezer whole then add one each day to tank and remove empty shells next
