I am not as adventurous as some of you. The ric is already on a piece of rubble, I will figure out how to keep that rubble as I would know how to move the little guy off :)

What you could do is if you've got some left over rock and if you've got a Dremel is cut a large hole in the rock and drop the Frag into the hole, place the rock away from the other structure.

Latest update....I COULDN'T RESIST...so today I did some gardening. Moved some Zoa's where we hope they grow...but...also picked up a cleaner shrimp. They are so cool I just couldn't say no.

Pics or it didn't happen.....

He's coming around.

Then BAM! There he is...Sam is his name.

And the gardening...

I love the shrimp...great colors...neat personality...Sam. I have actually been feeding him with a turkey baster as the clowns are still not used to him. It lets them eat while he goes "90" on the baster. He is getting to the point that when he sees me he comes out from his ledge where he hangs like a bat! He also is sometimes all over the zoas...driving my wife crazy actually - one of the many benefits of this hobby I am learning.

I was fortunate enough today to pick up a torch from Andy (member on GTAA). Andy was great and walked me through things I should do when I got it home to acclimate it.

So far so good it seems. The torch was a little ball when first put in the tank, but now it is starting to extend! Many thanks to flexin5 for allowing me to inundate him with questions prior to me bringing the torch home!

Well it didn't happen unless there are pics...so

Nice torch, Andy is a good guy. Seen that piece in his tank. Congrats. Next time you feed Sam, take some mysis or what ever you feed him and try hand feeding him. He will walk upside down on the top of the water and latch onto your fingers... pretty cool actually, once you get use to him. I do it all the time with my blood shrimp.....  btw I am easily entertained  lmao

You are also now a member of wavy shit in my tank  :p

That's only been 2 months! I figured that mine will have to get a rock unto it's own :)

I think shrimps are more curious but clowns will bite you if you threaten thier space. Tell the wife to keep some band aids close by

They seem like they're starving all the time and they will take the food right out of a Zoa or anything else but they won't hurt the Clowns.

Funny you mention that they will take food away from the zoa's...I have seen Sam do this... they close up so fast too :)

He's on the sand bed right now. We'll see how it goes. I am always Leary when I get a new coral since I am new to this

Not sure if this torch looks "over" extended...reaching for the light? Or is this the way they normally are? (first torch:) )

I know that I should be posting this in the ID section, but I wanted to keep things in my thread as a reference so that I can go back and review all the advice, suggestions etc.

I am curious if this is bubble algae and if so, should I be worried? - I can take the frag out and clean it without issue if that is necessary.

My paly has been closed for a couple of days, but when I go home I noticed that one was trying to peak out. Is this normal behaviour?

This is a big one for me as it wasn't there before, and I have no idea what this is? You can see the white thing that is below the ric and has a sort of round base.

Last one is the growth underneath or on the PPE. Are these new heads trying to push out?

Thanks for any help or advice. I have searched the web, but haven't been able to find any good information, so as usual, I am asking here ;)
