Can you get a video next time you feed the tank? I bet it is quite the scene.

absolutely love it!
I'm happy that it's recovering for you, the anenomes aren't causing each other any issues are they? I love the idea of so many anenomes and of course the clowns !

Thanks, im happy its working out too.. i've been talking about this tank for the last year as some of the guys around here know.. its been along time coming and despite the setbacks im happy with it so far. time is all it needs now and it should be rather full soon enough.

I've been starving them, they only get baby fish pellets once a day and only enough so each fish gets 1 or 2.. i wanted to let the tank mature a bit before i start heavier feedings.. theres alot of bioload with 20 big anemones and 30 small fish in a 50g tank, But just for u Jerry, i dumped in a full cube of cyclopleze and taped the action, check it out in HD of course.. altho im not sure how hd it really is.. the full thing was 1GB from the camera.. and windows movie maker uploaded it in HD at 50mb.. either way tho. its still neat.

Aaron, The Purple bubble tip makes an appearance in this video, its on the move today and i got it on video!! its on the overflow in the second half of the video.

that is absolutely fabulous, so cool that they're alll living together in harmony. I have 4 anenomes and assorted clowns, one day I'd like to have something similar, there is something about the clown and anenome relationship that really does it for me. When I first started with the lfs I had a clown and a carpet anenome which I managed to keep alive and flourishing for a year and a half, which is surprising now that I know that I was doing everything wrong except feeding him. One day I'll have one again and this time I'll have the perfect set up for it. Where did you pick up your anenomes?
Thanks for sharing, I really enjoyed the action and the purple anenome is going to be fabulous in the tank and it certainly is on the move isn't it?

This is neat...my clownfish eggs hatched last night around 1am, and I had to watch them, sadly, one by one go down the overflows.

oh geez that sucks (in more than one way) but yeah, it's sad to have to watch that damn!

Yep, and they just did it again, pretty much every 2 weeks like clockwork.  The night after you can see the fry's eyes reflecting back at you, at around 1am, they all take off.  The tank looks like I just fed the sps for about 10 minutes, then there is nothing but water....

do you plan on trying to raise the fry at any time? means another tank and a lot of work doesn't it?

It means a few more tanks, and more effort than I plan to put into anything.  Hey, I didn't tell them to have babies!

Seriously though, if I went to the rediculous effort of catching the little things, and putting them into a ???  how long would they survive without green water or whatever the little bastards eat?

I wonder if they're good on pizza.

We'll see, I do have a little tank sitting here that used to have goldfish in them (now those are good on pizza).  Maybe I could make a go of saving the little things, because hey, I haven't obviously got enough on the go already :)
