I agree. Bio-pellets make your skimmate stink to high heavens. I cleaned my skimmer cup the other day at noon and my wife was complaining about it at 7pm. And my setup is in the furnace room, in the basement and we were upstairs... Man, did it ever stink. So now, I open the window when I do it and have a fan exhausting out. Happy wife, happy life.  ;D

lets hope the growing pains go away asap .. the wife wants to kill me lol its all gone now thank god and it was just the collection cup that smelled like that when i dumped it out

your right..... happy wife, happy life ........ I think opening my windows made it worse just blew up the stairs threw the house lol

Try skimming wetter for a bit, should dilute it.

I am running into the same issue.  Whole laundry room is stickier. Wife complains.  Probably put on an exhaust fan

It only smelled like that when I emptied the cup it doesn't smell like that constantly

Ya they do that when I'm near the tank they thought I was going to feed them but I was just making a video haha

Well I picked up a mate for the Picasso yesterday but unfortunately he didn't stay alive long enough for a picture. I have not a clue what happened, placed in the same home as the previous 3 and there all alive and eating great but this guy didn't take from the second he was acclimated. Man I'm bummed out, he was my birthday present also. How to I break this to the fiancé ..
