I've tried to catch him several times over the last while. it is quicker and smarter then you'd think. But when I move everything over I plan on putting him in the fuge. Which of course will be awhile. I'm hoping for end of February..

He's all yours... Once I have him isolated I can either plan a trip to my parents in Norwich and drop him off.. Or if you ever come up this way, There is generally always beer in the fridge.

Really happy with the tank. Did a series of small water changes (20 g ea , 3x in one week)
Really seemed to take a the wind out of the hair algae, did some manual grooming and turned a couple more rocks today.

All the corals are doing well and fish too :)

Tank is doing very well, just coasting and maturing.
Only filtration is a skimmer and a small ball of chaeto ( not growing)
As well as 250+ lbs of liverock.

Every little bit of hair algae has disappeared!
How I don't know, I did some
Manual removing and some water changes and that was it....

It still amazes me to watch a tank mature weather salt or fresh water. it's like my ciano out break, it was massive and I though I'd have to medicate and now its receding very fast.

Nothing crazy for changes.
Thinking about adding some lighting for a better spread.
All fish are very happy and healthy.
Small bit of red cyano on the sand bed but nothing I don't expect from doing a waterchange every 2 months lol.
Only type of filtration is a skimmer and 300lbs + of liverock

Bought an absolutely beautiful powder brown, has been in captivity for over a year and looked perfect when I put him in QT.
Day later the good ole ich showed up :)
I'm happy I made the resolve to QT everything and have CP in stock to easily treat ich. Several weeks and we will be good to ad this stunner to the display

A Quarantine tank is a lot of work for sure BUT I think essential for the Aquarist who is serious about the long term plan. Just think if it as part of the process. Remember, nothing happens quickly in this hobby.

Been quite for awhile, haven’t changed to much all summer, just watched and cleaned.

Did some re aquascaping yesterday, still love giving the Nem it’s own island.

Added a Midas blenny yesterday and a couple shrimp.
