Replaced my in250 with a bubble magus curve 7. Pulls out darker skimmate than the vertex ever did. Just a suggestion

Definately to many coral plus bulbs in this unit. Figured id try it out since thats that combo it came with. But i def prefer more blue.

Also so far for flow all i need is a Rw20 and my return lol. I have lots of flow. So thats a plus. I may need one for the back but thats about it.

Definitely get one on the back bottom behind rock structure keep that from building crud up

You can do that with a wrasse? I have been seriously thinking about bare bottom, but I have a hoevens wrasse that needs his "sand bed".
Mine also spits it all over the place when he gets in a mood.

Yup, i have a pair of leopard wrasses and a checkerboard wrasse. And i have just one pile of sand they all share lol. You coul also try to contain it in a tupperware or old view box and tuck it in the back of your tank. I tried it with tupperware and my checkboard basically had the container emptied in a month or so.
