Riley, I'll take a look around to see if there is more plumbing somewhere, but I know I had it connected at one point when I was going to set up the sump. It just screwed right on. I'll take a look and see if there is another piece of piping somewhere here. Sorry for the troubles.

try threading it without the pipe in there.

You know the pipe size is smaller than the actual bulkhead, right? If it's a 1" bulkhead you usually need a 3/4 pvc to glue into the bulkhead.

The pipe slides into the bottom of the bulkhead just cant get the nut like thing to thread on.

that's unusual Riley, nothing blocking it from tightening? lots of room where you cut the hole for the bulkhead? It should thread no problem at all.

did you take a good look at the threads to see if there is anything interfering with them? I haven't found another piece yet, will keep looking.

Light is hung!! Dont worry i know its not centre, i have to move my tank a cpl inches, decided before i hung the light because i could barely fit my hand between the tank and wall lol. Tomorrow hopefully running the electrical line from the breaker to my room! Getting closer!

Yeah i love the light! And yeah, i still cant get it to fit, and the pistol is great for that, and other things lol.

You might need to replace that bulkhead. Threads might have gotten damaged somehow

Yeah its a possibility. The tanks are a pain to get onto stands with just a hole for the bulkhead. Might have gotten slid and damaged it a bit.

well that would suck, but it very well could be the problem. It would be a pain to replace wouldn't it? awkward to get at?

Yeah i have a feeling it will be...could i not just seal a pipe in place instead of threading it...can they be taken apart once theyre sealed together??
